"3 Months Old"

Since I turned 3 months old, I can now start holding onto objects better! I love playing with my rings and my giraffe named Jeffie. I don't like to lay down much anymore, I love being in my swing or my stroller so I can see what's going on! This is the face that melts Mommy & Daddy's hearts everytime...

Jacuzzi Day

Here I am in my crab floaty that Nanny bought me so I can go in her and Grandad's jacuzzi! Then Nanny found me another floaty just like my friend Violet's. Now we can have a pool day together.

Emma's PKU scores

Dr Koch would like Emma's levels to stay between 120-360. Here are her levels from birth until current so you can get an idea of how much they can change. Here is a picture of Dr. Koch, Me and Mommy. He is the grangfather of PKU because he has been researching it for over 40 years. He is now 80 years old and retired, but he still gets around very well, and is involved in the research at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Now that Emma's levels have stayed at a constant, we have now been working with Dr's and a Dietician over at CHOC. Mary, the dietician has done an excellent job at keeping Emma's levels in the safe range.
We will still keep in touch with Dr Koch because when Emma is old enough, we can take a sample of her blood and have it sent to Denmark to be tested. The Dr's there can tell us what Emma's DNA is so we know how severe her PKU is.
